N4 closed at Vosman due to protest on highway

The N4 has been closed, and traffic is being rerouted around Vosman, eMalahleni, where protesters are causing havoc on the highway.

Protesters have blockaded the route with tires and large rocks.

Traveling motorists to and from Gauteng must please avoid the N4 around eMalahleni by using alternative routes around the city.

Trac has also issued the following warning on its Twitter feed: “Protest action on the N4 at Mathews Phosa Street, eMalahleni. Road closed. Please be patient”.
