N4 Vosman protest site cleared, open for traffic

eMalehleni police have confirmed that the N4 at Vosman, has been opened and protesters have dispersed. The highway was closed by police and Trac to ensure motorists' safety.

Ongoing protests resulted in tires and large rocks being placed in the carriageway by joining protesters.

The route was declared open and clear by Vosman SAPS commander around an hour ago.

Motorists should however be cautious in the area where protests flare up sporadically.
