Abandoned baby found alive, rushed to hospital

Police in Mhluzi discovered an abandoned baby this morning.

According to Sgt. Thabitha Leshilo, Mhluzi police spokesperson, the police received a call about a baby in Extension 4.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the baby wrapped in a blanket. The mother was nowhere to be found.

Mpumacare Ambulance Services rushed the baby girl to hospital. They said she was very cold, but in a stable condition.

Anyone with information about the baby’s mother can contact the Mhluzi police on 013 247 7396.
