The Middelburg Methodist Church is celebrating its 120th anniversary with a jam-packed week of activities which kicked off on Tuesday with a high tea for the elderly at the church.

On Thursday the church also hosted a Women’s Tea in celebration of Women’s Day.

A Gatsby Murder Mystery themed gala dinner will be hosted on Friday while the men and children can look forward to a pampering on Saturday with a breakfast for the dads and a Boeresport Day for the youngsters.

The celebrations will culminate in a service on Sunday by the church’s first locally ordained female Reverend, Reverend Carol Lubbe.

Everyone is welcome to join the congregation for the celebrations.
