#TrafficUpdate: Kranspoort Pass accident – expect delays
The Kranspoort pass has once again been obstructed after a truck driver lost control.
The Zambian truck, which was carrying a full load of acid, lost control after break failure and jack-knifed into one of the barriers.
The driver narrowly escaped with his life and fortunately, wasn’t seriously injured.
The pass has been reduced to two single lanes to ease traffic build up.
The truck will later be hauled out and motorists can expect the pass to be closed.
•Usage of alternative routes is advised.
