Laerskool Middelburg’s little munchkins are ready to take on the world

After a lovely holiday, it may be tough for the little ones to let go of their mothers' coat tails, but the grade 1's of Laerskool Middelburg were very brave.

They squarely braced themselves for their first day of school by ringing the bell to mark the beginning of their scholastic careers.

After their very own welcoming ceremony, the new students and their parents headed over to their classrooms for a meet and greet with the teachers.
