Tragedy strikes as one perishes in N4 crash

A collision between a truck and BMW left one dead on the N4 yesterday evening.

The accident occurred between the Van Dyksdrift and Nelspruit offramps at around 21:10.

According to the Middelburg SAPS, the BMW was from Maputo. It is unknown as to how many passengers it was carrying with the exception for the driver and one passenger.
The BMW passenger perished, but the two drivers involved both survived the collision.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
