Angry protesters are blocking the N4 and are throwing rocks at motorists.

The protest action is taking place after the Samora Machel offramp in Nelspruit’s direction.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area because of the unrest.

Police are at the scene.

Journalists are also currently on the scene and an update on the status of the road will follow shortly.
