#TrafficAlert – Head collision leaves oil spill – Walter Sisulu street closed

A collision between a double-cab and a taxi has resulted in an oil spill and Walter Sisulu Street has been closed.

Numerous people have been injured in the collision and were attended to at the scene or rushed to hospital.

The accident occurred within the vicinity of the Middelburg Provincial Hospital in the location of the rumble strips.

Motorists traveling to or from the R555 (Old Witbank Road) are advised to use Oranje- and Wanderers Streets as a detour.

The cleaning of the oil spill is expected to take some time.
