13 bodies recovered from Gloria mineshaft

Rescue teams at Gloria Mine have managed to recover 13 bodies before operations were hampered by smoke.

According to a media statement released by Brigadier Leonard Hlati, the proto teams will reattempt to bring the rest of the bodies to the surface on Monday, 25 February.

The total number of bodies recovered thus far stands at 18.
