Baby among 5 who perished in horrific N4 crash
The death toll of yesterday's fatal N4 accident has risen to five deaths, one of which was a baby.
The grizzly crash occurred at around 16:00 on the N4 between the Samora Machel and Hendrina offramps.
Authorities initially reported that four people perished in the crash, but it was later confirmed that a baby passed away in Life Midmed Hospital.
The accident scene resulted in heavy traffic delays where motorists reportedly sat for over an hour.
