#TrafficAlert – Protesters gathering at Somaphepha, Stoffberg Road
Local farmers from the Stoffberg area are expecting chaos to ensue after protesters gathered outside the Somaphepha village this morning.

People residing in the village are unable to enter or leave the location at this stage.
The protesters have banded together across the street from the entrance to a new mine in the area. The demonstrators are unhappy about the new mine not providing work opportunities to local residents.
According to reports from locals in the area, the Stoffberg Road is open for use, however, it is suspected that the protesters may block the road at a later stage.
Motorists are urged to proceed with caution.
