WANTED: Murder Suspect – Police urge community to help locate this man
Dennis Sipho Motubatse, who was arrested on charges of murder and then released on bail of R1500, is on the run.
The Vosman Police have now issued a media statement, urging community members to assist them with the search.
Motubatse was arrested on 23 March 2018, for murder, after his employer, Ms Alta Maree was reported as missing in February.
After investigations, Motubatse pointed out a shallow grave to the police, where human remains were found.
The remains were sent for DNA testing to confirm whether they indeed belong to Ms Maree.
While the DNA results have not yet been released, Ms Maree’s family are convinced that she was murdered.
The Vosman Police are urging members of the community to assist in the location of their suspect.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact Sergeant Constance Beryl Prinsloo at 084 589 1128 or the Vosman Police Station at 013 659 8400.
