First responders refute eyewitness claims of extent of injury
Accounts of the deadly impact that claimed the life of a female pedestrian have been countered by bystanders.
First responders who tended to the injured victim refuted eyewitness accounts stating that the deceased had abdominal trauma to the extent that her intestines were protruding.
The woman, however, is said to have lost one of her legs from the violent impact.
According to eyewitnesses at a nearby car dealership, the deceased had her younger daughter with her but pushed her to safety before impact.
