Naked man spotted on the N4
Motorists driving on the N4 got more than they bargained for, on Sunday when a naked man threw stones at vehicles on the busy highway.
According to eyewitnesses, six police officers could not apprehend the man.
Alzu Petroport, security guards told www.mobserver.co.za that the man arrived at the stop-over naked on Monday morning, he was walking in the middle of the N4.
After minutes of refusing assistance from the police officers, the situation was calmed when the security officers convinced him to travel with the police.
He was transported to a hospital for medical observation.
The man told officers that he was from Mbombela, it is not clear how he arrived in Middelburg.
