Thieves leave kickboxing gym flooded

Pieter de Klerk’s Xtreme Kickboxing Technologies was burgled, with the thieves causing up to R10 000 in damage.

The incident occurred over the past weekend when Pieter was informed by an urgent phone call from Afgri Security that there was significant flooding pouring out from the high-perched gym.

The entire space was flooded, as copper pipes from the bathroom had been stolen, causing massive leakage.

Fortunately for Pieter, most of the gym’s belongings were not at the building, as Pieter is relocating his gym.

Pieter told the Middelburg Observer that one of the reasons for moving was safety concerns, and after this event, he feels justified in his decision.

Other belongings stolen included a toolbox valued at R3 000.
