Middelburg SAPS give back to the community

The Middelburg Police held an event at the Iraq Taxi Rank to spread awareness of the dangers of addiction facing our youth, featuring keynote speeches from Executive Mayor Masilela Mhlonishwa and Mpumalanga’s Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant-General Semakaleng Manamela.

Tranquillity Rehabilitation Centre CEO John Gibson also gave a speech, while his company handed out brochures to those in attendance.

The police band conducted a wonderful arrangement, much to the pleasure of all in attendance, with even the Provincial Commissioner joining in with a few dance moves.

The youth-focused event was held on Youth Day.

Below you can find a video of the day’s celebrations.
