Vote count for Ward 14 by-elections are in – DA in the lead

The vote count for the Ward 14 by-elections are in with the DA taking a strong lead.

The vote count is as follows:

DA: 905 (96.58%)

MHRF: 23 (2.45%)

ANC 9: (0.96%)

EFF: 0 (0%)

Total Votes Cast: 937

The candidates who contested the by-election included Elsi Vermooten from the DA, the MHRF’s Tinus van der Merwe, the ANC’s Mahmood Akhalwaya and Ntombizodwa Mthobeni from the EFF.
