Thousands of municipal assets up for auction this month

Residents should prepare for a coming bonanza when the municipality will place thousands of assets up for auction after the assets were declared redundant.

Numerous vehicles, including motorcycles and tractors, will be up for auction.

Items also include a metal detector as well as a fax machine.

Also on the list is a plethora of security cameras, fire fighting equipment, a wooden rolling door, and a typewriter.

It’s unclear how a kiddie’s chair made it into the corridors of power, and a money detector is sure to solicit some bids.

A large number of desktop computers, printers, scanners and other office equipment will also go on auction.

The auction will take place on July 19, starting at 09:00 at the municipal magasyn (stores).
