Multiple vehicle accidents close N4/N12 split

The N4/N12 split has been closed after multiple accidents having occurred this morning, due to the icy conditions of the road.

Reports are coming in that vehicles are spinning off the road, extreme caution when travelling is advised.

A multi-vehicle collision occurred, where vehicles are sliding off the highway down the embankment with the guard rail being broken.
