HTS strike to continue indefinitely

“We will be here as long as necessary.”

The ongoing strike outside HTS Middelburg is still underway, with no immediate resolution in sight.

The workers protesting outside HTS Middelburg told the Middelburg Observer, “We will be here as long as necessary.”

As such, the main entrance will be closed for the foreseeable future, with parents ordered to drop off and pick up their children at the south and west entrances.

The workers are wearing reflective jackets and holding green signs and will continue to be at the school from 07:00 to 17:00 every weekday.

Parents and students are urged not to interact with the strikers.
