Third week of HTS strike

The ongoing strike outside HTS Middelburg continues into its third week.

With no end in sight, the workers will continue their CCMA-approved protest every weekday from 07:00 to 17:00.

There was brief support from the EFF last week, with members of the political party joining the strikers in their effort.

Parents and students are urged not to interact or engage with the protestors.

The school’s main entrance will remain closed, with parents ordered to use the south and west entrances to pick up and drop off their children.
