Win a R6 000 weekend away this Saturday

For an awesome weekend filled with fun, head down to Event City Middelburg for the Netball World Cup Fan Park this Saturday.

To celebrate the Netball World Cup being held in Cape Town, join friends, family and the community to watch and enjoy every game together.

There will be lots of prizes up for grabs, with the highlight being a weekend away at a luxury lodge in the Lowveld, valued at R6 000.

All netball fans are encouraged to come and share their excitement, passion and love for the sport with other like-minded people.

For non-netball supporters, there will be a variety of entertainment options to put a smile on the faces of the whole family.

The event will feature face painting, colouring, a goal shooting and hula hoop competition, a jumping castle and a tug of war.

A live musical performance from Hermie Pienaar and local schoolchildren will also be held, with several stalls also attending.

An entry fee of R50 will be required, with children in primary school or below paying a R20 fee. Stall spaces are available for R250 for anyone looking to participate in the event.
Beginning at 08:00, the event will be an all-day affair, lasting late into Saturday evening.

Event organiser and netball coach Marlie Nel has just come back from Cape Town filled with excitement. She had the opportunity to witness South African netball live and would like to share her excitement with Middelburg.
