Wooden log pulled onto road to stop vehicles

Criminals aiming to steal from unsuspecting motorists have “improved” their tactics by using a wooden log to damage vehicles.

A voice note doing the rounds on WhatsApp groups urges motorists using the Hendrina road (N11) to be extremely cautious when driving at night.
A wooden log was pulled onto the road, about 10km outside Hendrina, to damage vehicles.

Two people have fallen victim to this, fortunately, one of them had a firearm and fired two warning shots, causing the robbers to flee.
