Traffic alert: Dense smoke on N4 due to veld fires

Extreme caution is advised to motorists travelling eastbound on the N4 as visibility will be affected by dense smoke.

According to a traffic notice currently circulating a veld fire is raging between the Woestalleen interchange and Middelburg Dam.

Motorists are advised to make use of their headlights and increase following distance between themselves and other vehicles.
