Housebreaking in Extension 24

A housebreaking incident in Extension 24 was reported to the Middelburg Police on Sunday.

According to the complainant, he left his house to visit a tavern in the area. When he arrived at the tavern, he sat and spoke to someone he knew in their car. However, he inadvertently left his keys in the vehicle when he entered the tavern.

Minutes later, he realised his house keys were missing. He contacted the person he had been sitting in the car with, who assured him his keys would be returned within an hour. When the complainant finally returned to his house, he discovered some of his valuables were missing.

No arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
