Fill your tank before the clock strikes midnight
Wallets beware, petrol and diesel price increases will take effect at midnight tonight.
There were queues of cars outside petrol depots and stations earlier this morning, with larger queues expected after 17:00 today, as the majority of residents will look to save their money after standard working hours.
The price of petrol is set to increase by R1.71 per litre, while diesel will increase by R2.76 for 50ppm (parts per million) and R2.84 for 500ppm. Unleaded 95 petrol will now cost a staggering R24.54 per litre, while unleaded 93 will be R24.14 per litre.
To ensure you save your hard-earned cash, visit any petrol station before the clock strikes midnight.
