R25 000 lost when handbag was stolen in clothing shop

The victim of a theft from a clothing store in Middelburg Mall is seeking assistance after suffering roughly R25 000 in damages.

According to Yolandi Jacobs, she was robbed of her handbag on September 6 in Ackermans at around 11:00.

Two women were identified by surveillance footage, and while they cannot be accused of committing any crime, they could assist in Ms Jacobs’ case being solved.

Ms Yolandi Jabobs alleges the brown handbag on the woman’s arm belongs to her.

The women, as identified in the screenshots of the footage, were seen climbing into a silver Toyota Yaris sedan.

Should anyone have any information that could assist in Ms Jacobs’ case, they can contact 063 224 9348.
