Traffic flow affected in Kranspoort by truck accident

A fatal truck accident that took place in Kranspoort last night is still affecting traffic flow.

Reports of a fatality were received after a truck carrying maize lost control and crashed in the pass yesterday at roughly 20:00.

According to a motorist, traffic flow this morning is still being affected with one lane closed, direction Middelburg.

The lane closure is to allow recovery of the lost shipment. Two trucks are also stationary due to breakdowns.

Motorists are advised to approach with caution and expect traffic delays.
