Taxi bound for Maputo rolls on N4
Commuters were fortunate to escape with minor injuries after the taxi they were travelling rolled on the N4.
The single vehicle accident took place near the Arnot off-ramp at roughly 18:00 this evening after the taxi, which was pulling a trailer full of baggage, appeared to have lost control and flipped over.
According to first respondents, three occupants were taken to hospital while remaining commuters only sustained minor injuries.
By the time of the Middelburg Observer’s departure from the scene, vehicle recovery had not yet taken place.
Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution.
