The local road patrol has issued a warning to motorists travelling on the R555 to be vigilant after a warning of vehicles being pelted with stones have been issued minutes ago.
According to the road patrol on WhatsApp groups, vehicles are being pelted by stones around the railway bridge on the old Witbank road.
No injuries have been reported so far.
Its also unclear at this stage who is behind the attacks.
police have been notified.
