Severely injured man causes panic at police station
A bloodied man was discovered outside the Middelburg Police station this morning (Tuesday).
It is not clear how the man arrived at the station or who assaulted him.
When asked about the incident, Colonel Donald Mdhluli, the Acting Mpumalanga Police spokesperson, confirmed the incident. However, due to the severity of his injuries, the police were unable to take his statement.
Instead, an ambulance was dispatched to the police station, and the man transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Colonel Mdhluli said more information will be shared at a later stage when the man has recovered.
