STLM brings WC Semi-Finals to big screen

Bok fever is running so high that the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality will be showing the Rugby World Cup Semi-Finals on a big screen for those who don’t want to miss it.

The community has been invited to come and watch the match between the Springboks and England on Saturday at 21:00 at the Kees Taljaard Stadium, or alternatively, at the Sydney Choma Banquet Hall, where it will be displayed on a big screen.

The occasion will undoubtedly be electric, with Middelburg’s very own Kwagga Smith being a part of the bomb squad after his selection as a replacement.

The team that will be jogging onto the field this Saturday is as follows:

Steven Kitshoff; Bongi Mbonambi; Frans Malherbe; Eben Etse (beste) – pardon, Etsebeth; Franco Mostert; Siya Kolisi – Siya later English rose; Pieter-Steph du Toit; Duane Vermeulen; Cobus Reinach; Manie Libbok; Cheslin Kolbe – lekker Kolbe; Damien de Allende; Jesse Kriel; Kurt-Lee Arendse; and Damien Willemse.

Replacements: Deon Fourie; Ox Niche; Vincent (van) Koch; RG Snyman; Kwagga Smith; Faf de Klerk; Handre Pollard; Willie le Roux.
