Checkers Sixty60 driver hospitalised in Samora Machel Street accident

A Checkers Sixty60 motorcycle driver has been rushed to the hospital after a collision with a Mercedes on the corner of Samora Machel and Vos Street.

At this stage, the extent of the Checkers driver’s injuries are unknown, but are serious enough for him to be taken to the hospital.

There was a total of two people in the Mercedes, both of which have come out of the accident unharmed, with only their vehicle sustaining heavy damage.

The collision pushed the motorcycle to crash into the stop sign on Vos Street.

The road is open, with traffic flowing as normal.
