Fuel price cuts on the cards for December

With the rand picking up and a drop in oil price trends South Africans can hopefully look forward to a possible relief in petrol and diesel prices for December.

According to the latest data from the Central Energy Fund there is a strong possibility that diesel prices could be cut to R1.80 per litre.

Though petrol prices are hard to predict, petrol price reductions between 60 cents to R1 are foreseeable should present oil price trends persist.

The current inland fuel prices are as follows:

500ppm Diesel: R24.16
50ppm Diesel: RR24.40
95 Unleaded Petrol: R23.90
93 Unleaded Petrol: R23.44.
