Traffic alert: N4 Westbound lanes closed, one killed in multiple-vehicle collision

The N4 westbound lanes (direction Gauteng) have been closed following a multiple-vehicle collision.

The accident occurred this morning shortly before 06:00 between the Carolina intersection and the Alzu Petroport, involving two trucks and a Ford Ranger.

According to Louwtjie Swart from Van Wettens Towing Services, one entrapment and one fatality were reported.

A 911 helicopter has landed at the scene to airlift patients to hosptial.

The accident blocked off traffic in westbound lanes.

He confirmed the closure of all westbound lanes.
