Who is she? Woman’s body found floating in Groblersdal water canal

The police are calling on the public to help them identify a deceased woman, who was found floating half-naked in a Groblersdal water canal.

The body of an unidentified woman was discovered face down in a canal close to the experimental farm.
The gruesome discovery was made on November 5.

The woman was wearing a black, sheer mini dress, without underwear, and was estimated to be 28 or 29 years old. She had bleached blonde hair and was of medium build.

The police estimate she was dead for five days, perhaps more, when the body was discovered.

The police are currently still investigating the circumstances around the suspicious death, and cannot rule out murder at this stage.

Members of the public with possible information about the woman’s identity are urged to call Lieutenant Colonel Edric Mukhwevho on 082 303 9927.

People with missing female loved ones should also make contact.
