Missing Clarize traced by family

A young 23-year-old has made contact with her concerned mother after disappearing from Lydenburg a week ago.

Clarize van Niekerk.

Clarize van Niekerk called her mother to inform her that she is alive and in no danger after an article was published by the Middelburg Observer to assist in the search.

“She has chosen to stay where she is and does not want to come home but at least we now know where she is and that she is alive,” a family friend informed.
