Main sponsor wishes Care Riders the best
The Nashua Care Riders will be starting the Munga and Munga Equipe from Bloemfontein at 12:00 today to raise funds for the Middelburg Care Village.
Main sponsor Junior van Niekerk from Nashua Mpumalanga, sent a heart-warming message to the cyclists, who will embark on their 1 000km pilgrimage through the arid Karoo in the name of charity.
Jaap and Elmien Beyers, members of the Middelburg Cycling Club’s committee, are leading by example by tackling the Munga as solo riders, meaning they will complete the full distance alone, whereas the rest of the Care Riders will be riding the Munga Equipe as relay teams.
Residents are urged to support their cause by donating funds for the educational needs of the 108 orphans residing at the Middelburg Care Village.

• Community members who are able to assist should take note that a Section 18A certificate will be issued by the Middelburg Care Village for all contributions. Sponsors are requested to provide the Middelburg Care Village with details and proof of deposit in order to receive the Section 18A certificate.
