The Munga officially begins

Its time to hold thumbs for the Nashua Care Riders as they start their journey to Cape Town in the epic and challenging MTB race, the Munga and Munga Equipe.

The moment that everyone was waiting for made its arrival at 12:00 in Bloemfontein, where cyclists started the 1 000 km trek through the arid Karoo, all the way to the Cape’s Wellington.

While Jaap and Elmien Beyers will be completing the full distance as solo riders, there are four other relay teams who will be completing the five-day stage race in sections.

Stay tuned for regular updates on their gruelling pilgrimage to raise funds for the Middelburg Care Village.
