Day 2: Care Riders make light work of the Munga

The Nashua Care Riders are off to a strong start in their journey to the Cape.

After taking off yesterday at 12:00 from Bloemfontein, the cyclists entered their second day of the 1 000 km trek through the Karoo all the way to Wellington with favourable weather conditions and an easy wind from behind.

The teams shared video footage of the beautiful landscapes and scenery as seen from the route.

The Munga is considered to be the toughest MTB race in the world.

The Nashua Care Riders have embarked on this challenge to raise funds for the scholastic needs of Middelburg Care Village, which currently fosters 108 orphans.
