A truck and a car was involved in a side-swipe at the T-junction on the R544, linking Bethal to eMalahleni.

While the truck overturned down an embankment, the vehicle with which it collided, is still in the road and motorists should proceed with caution.
The collision happened at the Broodsnyers-farm split on the Vandyskdrift road.

No fatalities have been reported.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, another collision has been reported at the Middelburg Toll Plaza, where a truck was also involved.

No injuries have been reported.

The truck is presently stationary just after the toll gate en route to eMalahleni and no other vehicles are involved.
