Care Riders triumph over the gruelling Munga – Sjani Campher

The Care Riders team, were not only the first all-ladies team to enter the Munga Equipe, but went on to finish in first place!

The Care Riders ladies team, which consisted of local Ironman champ, Sanet Griessel, Lizle Rosenstein, Natasha van der Berg, Maretha Bezuidenhout and Karen Vermaak, placed first in the Munga Equipe as a relay team after cycling the 1129km in 2 days, 14 hours and 10 minutes.

Middelburg Care Village lights festival – Matthew Handley

The Middelburg Care Village lights festival was surely one of the best highlights for December!

The dazzling lights will left everybody in in awe, not to mention the variety of top-class stalls which sold yummy snacks and food.

Die sejarige Rayden Rafferty het op 22 November gesterf.



Sesjarige se afsterwe raak almal se harte en help dat hy ’n Paw Patrol roudiens kon kry – Daleen Naude

Rayden Rafferty was nog besig om geestelike liedjies te sing, toe hy inmekaar gesak en kort daarna gesterf het.

Sy ma, Kristina, wou graag as laaste eerbetoon vir hom ’n Paw Patrol roudiens reël, omdat hy versot was op dié karakters. Hy het ook onder sy maters bekend gestaan as “Chase”.

Die gemeenskap en selfs mense van Ierland het dadelik bydraes begin gee nadat daar daaroor berig is en is daar ’n besondere Paw Patrol afskeid vir Rayden gehou.

• Sy ma het hierdie week elke persoon bedank wat haar gehelp het om alles bymekaar te kon kry vir die roudiens.
