Rumoured robbery at prominent GP’s practice untrue

There is a WhatsApp message on social media sites claiming that a robbery occurred on OR Tambo Street earlier today “near Dr Labuschange’s offices”.

Middelburg Observer journalists visited the area around 09:20 to investigate the matter.

At least five people working in the businesses in the area dismissed the claims and said they were not aware of the incident.

A media inquiry was sent to the police about the incident, no comment was received before publication.
