Another Eastdene business robbed by armed men

The attacks on businessmen continue with Tayyib Halaal butchery being robbed moments ago in the Eastdene shopping complex by armed men.

No one was injured during the robbery and the police are on the scene to take statements.

Meanwhile, there were reports that the getaway car had been spotted at Tosca supermarket, but journalists from the Middelburg Observer rushed there and found nothing.

The latest news is that the robbers’ vehicle was stopped on the Stoffberg road. Journalists are heading there now.

This is a developing story and readers will be kept informed as it unfolds.
