Fire brigade called to accident on Hektaar Street

A taxi and a light motor vehicle collided on Hektaar Street this evening, with the fire brigade called to assist at the scene.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, with only the light motor vehicle sustaining heavy damage.

Several of the taxi passengers sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the car was left unharmed.

The road is currently closed to traffic, so alternative routes are advised.
