The Dagpatrollie made a successful arrest last Thursday after they apprehended a man attempting to break into a house on Springbok Street in Kanonkop.

Arthur Hill of the Dagpatrollie said the incident occurred at about 10:30.

The suspect was spotted by the owner of the house while trying to break in.
When the homeowner went outside to investigate, the suspect fled.

The members of Dagpatrollie found him hiding on the corner of Blesbok and Springbok Street, close to Steelcrest High School.

The suspect also had tools on him, which were confiscated by the police.
