Organised protest planned for Doornkop tomorrow

Traffic on the N11 between Doornkop and Middelburg will be affected by a planned march.

Motorists are advised that traffic flow will be hampered for several hours from 08:00 tomorrow morning.

According a community member, the protest is about service delivery in the Doornkop area.

The march is planned to take off from the gravel T-junction and marchers will walk an estimated three to four kilometres to the G3 Abattoirs. Transport will then be taken from there to the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, where a memorandum will be handed over to the Executive Mayor.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays both on the N11 and within town.
