Man pays the price for skipping court

The man known as Manager, who was sought by police in connection with business burglary, has been arrested and remanded in custody.

Christopher ‘Manager’ Motau (26) appeared in the Belfast Magistrate’s Court after failing to appear in court for a business burglary that happened in 2020.

He was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment or a R300 fine.

The business burglary case was postponed to June 18. In the meantime, he will remain in custody until his June court appearance.
