Services halted at SASSA

Services at the The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) offices have been halted due to workers going on strike.

Residents waiting in long queues at SASSA were told on Tuesday morning that there would be no services provided.

According to information, the cleaners have gone on strike due to unpaid salaries, and SASSA officials are not assisting clients.

It is unclear when the protest will come to an end.
